Green Energy Initiatives

PSG & Sons’ Charities has taken a major step towards a sustainable future with the inauguration of 2 x 5 MW Solar Power plants. One plant will cater to the PSG Metallurgy & Foundry Division, while the other will support various PSG Institutions (6). Inaugurated by Shri L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons' Charities on September 19, 2024, these plants are set to generate 16-17 lakh units per month.

When combined with the existing 2.4 MW Solar PV rooftop system and 5.6 MW Wind Energy generators, PSG will produce an impressive 33 million units of Green Energy per annum. This output not only meets nearly 100% of the annual energy needs but also helps reduce 30,600 tons of CO2 Emissions each year.

This initiative underscores PSG & Sons' Charities’ unwavering commitment to clean, Renewable Energy and a sustainable future for the community and the planet.
